Online focus groups pay substantially more up to $250 per hour.

A stay at home mom may fill out a couple of surveys while the kids are napping or later in the evening when the kids go to bed. How much money will I make by doing paid surveys?

How much you will make depend on how many surveys you do. The numbers of surveys you will receive depend on who are you, where you live, what kinds of surveys that companies are interested in, how many companies you register with, the amount of information you provide them and your personal profile. You'll have months where you make very little and months where you may make considerably more.

When you are first starting out you may not receive very many survey invitations because most sites only send several survey invitations per year. Don't be discouraged if within the first few months you are not receiving a significant amount of survey invites. Try to register with about 200 companies. Usually I receive more survey invitations than I can handle. This give me chance to choose which surveys I prefer to do.
